Shelby Jimcosky, a senior at East Stroudsburg University (ESU) from Scranton, Pa., was ESU's finalist for the 2020 Syed R. Ali-Zaidi Award for Academic Excellence.

A total of 1,101 students will receive degrees from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania on May 9, 2020. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, traditional ceremonies could not take place, but all degrees will be conferred upon completion of coursework.
