ESU Student Studies Minds of Female Serial Killers for Senior Capstone

Valentina Otero's passion for her major goes deeper than assignments on a syllabus. To round out a robust course load, Otero, a senior criminal justice and psychology double major from East Stroudsburg, Pa., pursued an independent study capstone project focused on exploring the minds of female serial killers.

Psychology Department hosted the 46th Biannual Research Forum

The Psychology Department at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania hosted the 46th Biannual Research Forum on December 3, 2019 in the Niedbala Auditorium of the Hoeffner Science and Technology Center. The research forum was started over 20 years ago by Sussie Eshun, Ph.D., professor of psychology, and Richard Wesp, Ph.D., retired distinguished professor of psychology, as a venue to showcase the outstanding student research being done in the psychology department. It has steadily grown and now includes numerous research and internship posters, student research presentations, student award presentations, and honor society inductions.

Sarah Pomales, a political science major from Philadelphia, Pa., returned to her hometown on Saturday, November 9 to present research at Northeast Political Science Association's 51st annual meeting. The Conference took place at the Wyndham Hotel from November 7-9.
