ESU student Hayley A. Cosgrove a junior majoring in business management from Saylorsburg, Pa., won the "Outstanding Student Award" for the Council of Retail and Sales case contest at DeSales University.

Using a retrofitted robot arm from the 1990s, three East Stroudsburg University computer science students won the top award in math and computer science for their robotics project at a recent conference on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) for universities in Pennsylvania's State System of Higher Education.

Two East Stroudsburg University students, Samantha Dietz and Alicia Kakakio, presented research to the university's Council of Trustees during their April 25 meeting. The two students were chosen by ESU Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, Joanne Z. Bruno, J.D., from the 175 students that presented research at ESU's annual Student Research and Creative Activity Symposium on April 10.

Samantha Ward, a senior at East Stroudsburg University (ESU) from Swarthmore, Pa., was ESU's finalist for the 2019 Syed R. Ali-Zaidi Award for Academic Excellence.

Twenty-five students, faculty members, and recent alumni from East Stroudsburg University's department of psychology presented research at this year's Eastern Psychological Association annual meeting in New York City, held February 28 - March 2.

East Stroudsburg University's Department of Nursing hosted its 15th annual Nursing Challenge on April 26 in the Abeloff Center for the Performing Arts.

Students in Professor David Mazure's Graphic Design I class created posters with messages about the importance of inclusion that will be hung around campus this month. Mazure believes it's an especially timely project given the deep divide in the country over political and social issues.
