A total of 1,126 students have been named to the Dean's List at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania (ESU) for the Spring 2022 semester of the 2001-2022 academic year, according to Margaret Ball. D.M.A., interim provost and vice president for academic affairs. Students eligible for the Dean's List are those who have attained a 3.50 quality point average or better and are enrolled full-time. The letter grade "B" earns 3 quality points per credit, and the grade "A" earns 4 quality points per credit.

A total of 1,021 students received degrees from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania at a commencement ceremony on May 8 at Eiler-Martin Stadium. A total of 800 bachelor's degrees, 214 master's degrees and seven doctoral degrees were awarded. Fall 2021 Graduates, whose degrees were conferred in December, were invited to participate in the ceremony.

Graduating seniors Shade Stokes-Campbell and Magdelynn Wigoda have spent their years at East Stroudsburg University with a desire to lead and serve others. Stokes-Campbell, a public health major from Philadelphia, Pa., was awarded the University Service Award for the 2021-22 academic year. Wigoda, a communication sciences and disorder major from Minersville, Pa., was awarded the University Leadership Award.

East Stroudsburg University will hold its 2022 commencement exercise on Saturday, May 7 at 10 a.m. in Eiler-Martin Stadium. Andrea McClanahan, Ph.D, professor of communication will address the graduates. Student speakers, Austin Weitman and Loretta Erdo, will also address their classmates. Susan Dillmuth-Miller, Au.D., University Senate president, will be the grand marshal for the ceremony, which will honor ESU's December 2021 and May 2022 graduates.

Five doctoral degrees will be awarded during at ESU commencement exercises on Saturday, May 7, at 10 a.m. in Eiler-Martin Stadium.
