ESU Student Government Swears-In New Leaders

Before the close of the spring 2022 semester, ESU Student Government Association held elections for the cabinet positions of the organization. n April 28, during their last meeting of the semester, the new officers were sworn in. They will represent the ESU student body during the 2022-2023 academic year.

Student Government Association Holds 20th Annual Teddy Bear Drive

East Stroudsburg University's Student Government Association (SGA) is holding its 20th Annual Teddy Bear Drive this holiday season. Teddy bears and toys collected will be given to families of Head Start students in Monroe County during a holiday celebration that will take place on Saturday, December 7.

Being part of one of the most diverse student bodies among the 14 universities that make up the PASSHE system is a point of pride for Leila Bouchekouk, East Stroudsburg University's new Student Government Association president. This year, she and other SGA leaders are making it a priority to ensure students from all races, religions, sexual orientations and backgrounds feel included and their voices heard.
