The newest member of ESU's Council of Trustees (COT), Ainslee Green, received the oath of office on Wednesday, May 14 from COT Chairperson, L. Patrick Ross '67.

As the academic year came to a close, East Stroudsburg University's College of Education focused on advocacy.

Earlier this month, ESU senior Emma Beaston, a psychology major from Harrisburg, Pa., was a Collegiate Division finalist and tied for the Wild Card Award at the 23rd Annual tecBRIDGE Business Plan Competition.

Graduating seniors Kristian Sprankle and Ashlyn Augustine have spent their years at East Stroudsburg University with a desire to lead and serve others. Sprankle, a mathematics major from York, Pa., was awarded the University Leadership Award for the 2024-25 academic year. Augustine, a marine biology major from Fleetwood, Pa., was awarded the University Service Award.

A total of 1,086 students will receive degrees from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania during three commencement exercises on May 9 and May 10.

East Stroudsburg University will hold its commencement exercises on Friday, May 9 and Saturday, May 10 in Koehler Fieldhouse. The graduate commencement ceremony will take place Friday at 6:45 p.m. Ashlee Grennan M'10 M'25 will be the student commencement speaker. The undergraduate ceremonies will take place on Saturday. The ceremony awarding bachelor's degrees from ESU's College of Health Sciences and College of Business and Management will begin at 8:45 a.m. Joseph Merkel '25 will be the student speaker. The ceremony awarding bachelor's degrees from ESU's College of Arts and Sciences and College of Education will begin at 1:45 p.m. Richermy Batista Marinez '25 will be the student speaker. Susan Dillmuth-Miller, Au.D., University Senate president, will be the grand marshal for the ceremonies, which will honor ESU's December 2024 and May 2025 graduates.
