Four East Stroudsburg University students are spending the summer in Washington, D.C. interning with organizations, agencies and legislators. They are serving as interns through the Washington Center, a nonprofit organization that provides internships and seminars to college students interested in learning more about government, politics, and how public policy is shaped. Several students participated in academic seminars in January and May at TWC, before returning as summer interns.

ESU students who receive tutoring are more likely to continue their education at ESU than those who don't. They are also more likely to earn As and Bs in their courses for which they receive tutoring.

Graduating seniors Hannah Frankenfield and Jevon Mitchell have spent their years at East Stroudsburg University with a desire to lead and serve others. The University Leadership and Service Awards are the highest non-academic honor a graduating senior can receive for their work as a leader in cocurricular activities on campus or participation in initiatives and service opportunities off campus. To be eligible, applicants must have held office or demonstrated participation in a minimum of three clubs, activities, and committees, have a grade point average of 2.6, and be in good standing.
