East Stroudsburg University's Student Activity Association in conjunction with the Student Government Association hosted their annual Student Organization Award Banquet on Sunday, February 25. The banquet honored select clubs and organizations for their achievements during the 2023 calendar year. During the program the Hospitality and Tourism Management Club received the Educational Program Award for Hospitality Adventures Experiences.

They are serving as interns through the Washington Center, a nonprofit organization that provides internships and seminars to college students interested in learning more about government, politics, and how public policy is shaped. Several students participated in academic seminars in January and May at TWC, before returning as summer interns.

The University Leadership and Service Awards are the highest non-academic honor a graduating senior can receive for their work as a leader in cocurricular activities on campus or participation in initiatives and service opportunities off campus. To be eligible, applicants must have held office or demonstrated participation in a minimum of three clubs, activities, and committees, have a grade point average of 2.6, and be in good standing.
