ESU's Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry was represented the National American Chemical Society Spring Conference earlier this month.

Two ESU students participated in Undergraduate Research at the Capitol - Pennsylvania on Tuesday, March 19.

Jady van Gils, a junior majoring in sport management from Netherlands, always dreamt of studying and playing field hockey in the United States but needed the perfect fit. Today, she easily embraces her family away from the Netherlands through her teammates and coaches. With national championship experiences and academic growth in the sport management field at ESU, Jady proves that dreams come true with dedication.

Four East Stroudsburg University students are spending the summer in Washington, D.C. interning with organizations, agencies and legislators. They are serving as interns through the Washington Center, a nonprofit organization that provides internships and seminars to college students interested in learning more about government, politics, and how public policy is shaped. Several students participated in academic seminars in January and May at TWC, before returning as summer interns.

ESU students who receive tutoring are more likely to continue their education at ESU than those who don't. They are also more likely to earn As and Bs in their courses for which they receive tutoring.
